What is one thing that you are most anticipating about your study abroad experience?

I am looking forward to exploring the Czech Republic and other countries in Central Europe. My program has a couple exciting local excursions in the works, but I am also planning on taking advantage of Europe’s robust transportation system and visiting various countries. Since the start of my program, I managed to take a weekend trip to Berlin! 

Why did you decide to study abroad? or What inspired you to study abroad?

When I was younger, I was fortunate to be able to take short overseas trips and even spend a little time living abroad in Asia during middle school. Those initial experiences made me realize that I wanted to continue to learn about other cultures and study International Relations in college. I figured there was no better way to learn about another culture than to live in it. As a curious person that enjoys learning new things, I wanted to step outside my comfort zone and immerse myself in another language and way of life. Study abroad allows me to do just that.
